Who We Are
Lesley McKenzie, Editor
Lesley McKenzie is a newsroom leader, newsletter strategist and journalist with more than 15 years of experience in the business, entertainment and lifestyle spaces. McKenzie is the former managing editor of Ankler Media, a Y Combinator company formed in 2022 as an uncompromising alternative to Hollywood's traditional trade reporting. Prior to that, she also served as managing editor of Variety, and deputy editor of C. She has written for publications including The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles Times, WWD and Ultratravel. A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and New York University, McKenzie currently resides in Austin.
Brent LeBlanc, Assistant Editor
Brent LeBlanc is a multifaceted creative marketer with a diverse career in storytelling. A professional voiceover artist, he has lent his voice to national and global companies across various commercial and creative projects. LeBlanc also serves as recurring talent in live TV membership drives for Chicago PBS and provides freelance creative services for a range of companies, including Ubisoft. He lives in Chicago with his partner and their two cats.
Jennifer Glatt, Writer
Jennifer Glatt is an accomplished editorial and communications leader with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality, travel, and higher education spaces. A natural connector and collaborator, she helps businesses craft user-focused media that drives loyalty and revenue growth through thoughtful content, messaging, and branding. Glatt is the former Editor-in-Chief of Hotel Management and Content Director for Questex Hospitality, where she engaged with industry leaders to cover current issues, foster connections, and drive meaningful conversations. Through storytelling, strategic initiatives, and panel/roundtable moderation, she champions the power of relationships to spark innovation and shape the future of hospitality.
