PEOPLE & STAFF

How to cultivate a more authentic hotel staff

Doug Kennedy, President of the Kennedy Training Network, emphasizes the challenge luxury hoteliers face in aligning brand standards with authentic guest interactions. Rather than relying on script-like memorization, Kennedy suggests focusing on the "whys" behind the standards, limiting training to relevant aspects, and incorporating practical, conversational examples through role-playing to ensure a more personalized and refined service experience for guests.
