Opened in December 2023, the 40-room property offers activities such as guided hikes, children's wilderness classes and a Golden Hour hike. Part basecamp, part gathering space, the lively lobby also serves up local coffee and craft cocktails and hosts community events, aiming to make every stay an adventure. (Travel + Leisure)

TECHNOLOGY

Tick-Tock for hotel marketing?

A potential U.S. ban on TikTok threatens a key tool for hotel marketers, who have leveraged the platform's popularity among younger generations to boost visibility and engagement. Despite safety concerns and regulatory pressures, many hotels have successfully used TikTok for targeted campaigns aimed at millennial and Gen Z travelers. As the fate of TikTok hangs in balance, hoteliers are advised to consider shifting their social media strategies towards alternatives like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and possibly Snapchat to maintain audience reach and engagement.
