Comcast's IoT unit has collaborated with Spotta to launch a bed bug detection service for hotels. Using Spotta's Bed Pod sensors and an AI system, the service detects bed bugs under mattresses and sends real-time alerts to hotel staff with images.

Texas motor lodge-turned-boutique hotel

Hotel Lucine, a boutique in Galveston, Texas, has transformed a midcentury motor lodge into an influencer-ready hotspot. The two-story, 61-room property features whimsical design elements including a second-floor deck with Gulf of Mexico views, and a French-influenced seafood-forward restaurant.
